Syrie: 6 ans de conflit – 5 ans de soutien médical

miniAlors que le conflit syrien rentre dans sa 7ème année, Télécoms Sans Frontières se prépare à une sixième année de soutien envers le secteur médical au profit de la population. Le manque de communications dans les zones les plus dévastées du pays a conduit à la saturation du domaine de la santé, alors que le nombre de blessés et de malades ne cesse d’augmenter.

 


 

Iraq-Mosul: TSF supporting camp coordination

 

accSix months ago, the city of Mosul in Iraq transformed into a violent battleground. To date, over 300,000 people have fled the city and have sought refuge in IDP camps set up in the surrounding region.

The volatile and unpredictable nature of the situation is such that relief agencies require fast and efficient coordination to serve the daily arrivals of families. Communication is the key to this.


   

Madagascar: TSF leads assessments alongside UN

At the request of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), Télécoms Sans Frontières has deployed a team to assist its Disaster Coordination & Assessment body (UNDAC) in response to the category 4 Cyclone Enawo.


 

UPDATE SYRIA: Digital support for schools

 

accueilTo respond to the educational requirements of the children who have fled their homes, TSF put in place mLearning centres for Syrian refugees and IDPs. 

Offering educational support using new technology to Syrian IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) and refugee children since 2013, TSF has provided schooling for 5,170 pupils.
