Télécoms Sans Frontières, in partnership with the Humanitarian Aid department of the European Commission (ECHO), conducted in Santiago a program of reinforcement of emergency telecom capacities of the Chilean government.
Niger: ICT to Prevent Food Crisis
As food becomes scarce in the developing world, access to telecoms has become critical in combating hunger. Since 2005, TSF has provided remote telecoms centres, technical support services, and has created new software to strengthen the communications system of the government’s National Food Crisis Prevention System.
